Kahra sang on Christmas Day at Grace Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL-- the same church she was confirmed in and sang with the choir as an alto growing up. It was a full circle to share her voice in a solo with songs in the soprano range! Kara started the service with a medley of popular Christmas songs: "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear", "Away in a Manger", "What Child Is This", & "O' Little Town of Bethlehem" on the back balcony of the church. Then Kara sang a jazzy version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain" in the front of the church during offering. And finally Kahra sang "Oh Hearken Ye" during communion.
