Kahra flew to LA to become an active part of ASCAP, her Performing Rights Organization. Kahra met many wonderful artists, songwriters, & music business insiders.
She received inspiration from interviews with Richard Marx, Chaka Khan, Heart, & Jeff Lynne, Wyclef Jean, & Natasha Bedingfield. She also enjoyed the panels which interviewed songwriters with famous songs such as: Stargate (Miss Independent, Beautiful Liar), Christopher "Tricky" Steward (Umbrella), Antonina Armato (I Still Believe), Dan Wilson (Closing Time), Ryan Tedder (Apologize), Brian "BK" Kennedy (My Love), Andre Merritt (Disturbia), James Fauntleroy (No Air), Cristyle "The Ink" Johnson (Touch My Body), & Craig Wiseman (Live Like You Were Dying).
Kahra also got a camera interview with ASCAP explaining her art and promoting the conference.
